AFL-AFC Rookie of the Year
The AFL-AFC Rookie of the Year award was presented by the United Press International (UPI) to the top Rookie in the American Football League (AFL) from 1960 through 1969. After the merger with the National Football League (NFL), the award was presented to the best Rookie in the American Football Conference (AFC) until 1996 when the AFL-AFC Rookie of the Year award was discontinued.
