Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are an American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Panthers are currently members of the South Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL).

How did they become the Panthers? Team owner Jerry Richardson’s son Mark is responsible for the selection of Panthers as the team name.
